In the last 36 years there has been a large swing to natural finished cedar venetians, because of the natural beauty and character, colour, and grain in the timber. As a major supplier to the state government for the past 24 years, we have supplied most of the court houses in NSW, and the oldest buildings in Australia. The blinds have an appeal that suits just about every situation both outside and in.
Our blinds have been presented in a variety of ways over the years in television advertising to major movies in Australia and overseas, and the people that work within these industries. Australian Architects like, Glen Murcutt have seen the value and sense of using the blinds in many applications.
Seaforth Venetians is a family business, and has a special tradition in the way we produce our products. It takes 6 months to prepare the timber, and produce one cedar blind, and quite a few man hours in its preparation and selection to produce a standard that is appreciated by the many customers we have served over the years.
